Wedding hair and choosing a hairstyle for your wedding day is an important task. Looking your very best on your big day, but you still want to look like you. Look through pictures in magazines can be helpful to get ideas. If your wedding dress is simple, you could go for a more intricate hairstyle. However, if your wedding dress is more on the elaborate, your hairstyle should be more subdued.

Scheduling a trial is a must and if possible and ideal time is four to six weeks before the wedding is ideal. Going through a trial run also allows you to make changes to the hairstyle and make-up before the big day. We all get beauty problems that we would like to just disappear…….. A wedding day is the one day we can make those problems vanish temporarily by using the proper concealer and using it correctly.

If you wake up on your wedding day with a blemish, no problem! We will fix the problem with a good concealer. And if you have any facial scars that you want to hide, layer a concealer over the scar using a concealer, then smooth out the edges with a sponge to blend. Waterproof mascara is a necessity on your wedding day. No one wants their wedding day glow to be overshadowed by big black streaks. Waterproof mascara is not usually made to lengthen, thicken or curl your lashes, so Jessica will spend time applying it to make it look as flawless as some other mascara brands. One of Jessica tips to every bride is to blot, not wipe or rub your face………. Blotting soaks up wetness without disturbing the rest of your makeup like wiping or rubbing them would. Been a another busy week in the life of Lavish Hair and Makeup. We have been busy doing trials getting ready for our lovely brides over the next few month. The summer weddings are rolling in.

One of our Hair and Makeup wedding trial for Louise Keenan went absolutely fantastic, we did the hair and makeup wedding trial in La Quinta, La Milena Spa and Golf hotel. We did a few different hair styles as she wasn’t 100 percent on what she wanted, we did 2 high styles and 1 low style. Diana our Hair stylist curled all the hair to start off then gradually put it up. It looked stunning on her, as did every style!

For the makeup trial Louise Keenan went for a very fresh bridal look, classic makeup wedding. I use the Dior skin Fluide Spf 12 foundation with a lovely pinkie blusher. Waterproof mascara just in case there is a few tears on the wedding day. Our goal to make sure that our Lavish bride´s feel 100% satisfied with there trial and final look for your big day.

Recent Lavish brides

The first of our Marbs wedding trials took place on Wednesday the 18-04-2012 with the wedding planned for 4th June in Gibraltar. Such a lovely bride, a little nervous but everything went well. We did a few different styles on the hair 1st of all we tried a more relaxed looked which was loose curls half up half down, please see picture below.  Then we tried an up style, very classic wedding look with her fringe down “with some volumen” and some height on top with it very slick at the back with a gorgeous diamond bridal clip.

For the makeup we went for a sun kissed look very natural and fresh. I used a Dior primer to make sure the makeup sets upon the skin nicely. Eyes were done with natural creams, golds and a little dark in the corner of each eye total Dior black out water proofe mascara to finish the eyes, her eyelashes where lovely. The new Chanel summer blusher, summer kissed lips which I used sheer strawberry pink with a lip Maximizer on top “which ladies I highly recommend for daily use they are just fab”.  Can´t wait for her wedding now she will look absolutely stunning.

Trial took place in Marbs as well in the Hotel Fuerte Miramar Spa Marbella, she was a very relaxed bride and her wedding will take place this Saturday getting ready in Marbella and her wedding ceremony will take place in the Norwegian church in Calahonda. The look Stefanie went for was a gorgeous, GHD curls with half up and half down with a little fringe to the side, she will be going for some pearls in her hair on the day which Diana will design around her hair style.

For the makeup she went for a very original bridal look, simple fresh foundation which was the air flash Dior spray, with bronze sun kissed blusher with some sparker in it, very light creams, browns and golds on her eyes, Dior waterproof mascara “total black out” to finish her eyes with some very sexy bright red glossy lips to match her bridesmaids dress. Very nice!
